Dental regulators · Confirm official sources · May 2026

There is no universal “IELTS for dentists abroad” band. Each regulator — such as the UK General Dental Council — publishes English-language evidence rules, accepted tests, and sometimes exemptions. Other countries use different boards. Confirm the regulator for the country where you will register. This page does not quote a 7.0/7.5 as global law.

Registration is about fitness to practise and patient communication, not a campus admission letter. Copy-pasting a France student-visa explainer onto this URL would be the wrong document stack.

Patient-facing registers often care about Listening/Speaking — still confirm, do not invent.
